Obaby Stamford Classic Sleigh Cot Bed with Under Drawer – Warm Grey

The Obaby Stamford Classic Sleigh Cot Bed in Warm Grey combines a full-size 140 × 70cm cot bed with an included matching under-bed storage drawer, creating a practical sleeping and storage solution designed to last from birth to approximately four years old.

Part of the popular Obaby Stamford furniture collection, the Classic features distinctive curved sleigh ends, three adjustable mattress heights, protective teething rails and the ability to convert from a baby cot into a toddler bed.

Finished in versatile Warm Grey, it's an excellent choice for parents looking for a full-size cot bed with generous built-in storage without needing additional nursery floor space.

From Newborn Cot to Toddler Bed

The Stamford Classic Cot Bed is designed to adapt as your child grows.

During the newborn stage, the mattress base can be positioned at its highest setting, reducing the amount of bending required when placing your baby into the cot.

As your baby begins to sit, stand and become more mobile, the base can be lowered through two additional positions, giving you three mattress heights in total.

When your child is ready to progress from their cot, the Stamford Classic's end panels split to allow conversion into a toddler bed, extending its use to approximately four years old.

Requires a 140 × 70cm Mattress

The Stamford Classic takes a standard 140 × 70cm cot bed mattress, providing considerably more growing room than a mini cot bed while allowing the same furniture to continue into the toddler years.

Mattress sold separately.

Under-Bed Storage Drawer Included

Unlike cot beds where the drawer is an optional extra, the matching Warm Grey under-bed drawer is included with the Stamford Classic.

It makes use of the otherwise empty space beneath the cot and provides easily accessible storage for:

• Spare cot sheets and bedding
• Blankets and sleeping bags
• Baby clothes
• Towels and changing essentials
• Toys and other nursery items

The drawer runs on durable wheels, allowing it to move smoothly across different floor surfaces, while the recessed handles maintain the clean appearance of the cot without protruding handles.

Protective Teething Rails

The Stamford Classic includes protective teething rails designed to protect delicate teeth and gums during the teething stage.

Its slatted cot sides maintain visibility into the sleeping area, while the solid curved end panels create the distinctive Stamford sleigh-bed appearance.

Warm Grey Stamford Finish

The Warm Grey colourway offers a softer alternative to traditional white nursery furniture and works particularly well with neutral, woodland and contemporary nursery interiors.

The same Warm Grey finish is available across coordinating Stamford furniture, including the Closed Changing Unit, Double Wardrobe and Stamford Sleigh Shelf, allowing you to build a matching nursery around the cot bed.
