NEW Open Up Carrycot – Five Ventilation Windows

One of the biggest upgrades to the latest Electa is the Open Up Carrycot.

Rather than simply providing ventilation at one end, the new design incorporates five independently adjustable ventilation windows – one at the head and two on either side.

You can regulate airflow depending on the weather and your baby's needs, helping create a comfortable microclimate inside the carrycot.

The mesh openings also make it easier to maintain eye contact with your baby, particularly when they're awake and beginning to explore their surroundings.

NEW Darwin Infant Recline EVO Car Seat

The biggest change to this 2026 package is the arrival of the Inglesina Darwin Infant Recline EVO.

This isn't simply an updated fabric on the previous Darwin infant carrier.

The Recline EVO has been redesigned to give your baby a more ergonomic, almost completely lie-flat position, with Inglesina increasing the backrest recline by 20% compared with the previous version.

Suitable From 40–87cm

The new EVO also gives you substantially greater longevity.

It is approved for children measuring:

40–87cm, up to 13kg

meaning it can accommodate a considerably taller baby than the older 75cm version supplied with previous Electa packages.

Almost Lie-Flat Reclining Position

Activate the reclining mechanism and the backrest lowers while the leg section extends, helping align your baby's back and legs into an ergonomic, almost completely horizontal position.

Even better, the latest EVO can also be reclined when attached to the Electa chassis or Stand Up, making it much more versatile when moving between the car, pushchair and home.

Improved Ventilation & Bamboo Fabrics

Comfort has also been upgraded.

Ventilation openings are positioned around the structure, including the lower section, sides and headrest, while bamboo fabrics and 3D mesh help improve breathability.

The wider UPF 50+ sun canopy provides additional protection when you're using the carrier away from the car.

Advanced Side Impact Protection

Safety remains at the centre of the Darwin design.

The Recline EVO incorporates Side Head Protection technology with polyurethane foam inserts designed to provide additional protection during a side impact.

The latest design also introduces Integrated Shock Absorber (I.S.A.) technology, engineered to absorb and reduce energy transferred to your baby in a collision.

Lighter Than the Previous Version

Despite offering greater space and increased functionality, Inglesina has redesigned the structure to make the new EVO 700g lighter than its predecessor.
